This is a relatively short drawing I made in few days after having the idea of making a Dragon seen from another point of view. Modeled in 3DS8 and rendered in V-ray with a little post-production to adding the blue volume light (rendered separately in 3DS), the cracked lips and the beard. And a little of colour correction is done with Photoshop. I'm sorry that the hands and the legs are not shown, but I had a lot of problems rigging the model, and they're not good to see :-/
I had lot of problem to create a good water-material to add in the big glass with the denture, so I left it empty, it should be for the next time ;-)
I hope you appreciate my idea, C&C are wellcome.

At the end I decided to finish one of my first models. I've learn to model in 3ds in 2004 thanks to this great tutorial by Michel Roger (french original version here:
http://mr2k.3dvf.net/tutorials/max/tutorials_joan.htm
and english version here: http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials/max/joanofarc/joanmenu.asp).
I've had that summer some great problems with rigging my charachter so I hardly finished it with new version of the program. This is the reason for the bad pose. I textured it again and rendered with V-ray.
For everyone would like to learn 3d modeling this is one of the best tutorials (a little too old now but again useful).

Deep Sea Fish

I've looked at abyssal fishes with dread and a big curiosity since I was a little boy. So when I saw a very nice 3D picture of a similar fish (obviously in great CGTalk forums ) I wished to model my own one.
I choose this strange anglerfish because I wanted one with luminescent appendix above the mouth, and this is the most described in the net.
I've also seen a beautiful book in a library full of impressive pictures (maybe real photos, but I think beautiful drawings) of these monsters.
I hope to be able to render the athmosphere of mystery that surrounds these nearly unknown creatures.
This fish is modeled in 3DStudioMax, rendered with V-Ray and modified a little (colours above all) in Photoshop. Thank you for your c&c, dEDa

At last I completed my 3D vehicle. It's a three wheels vehicle, with a strange design which seems midway between old and futuristic style. I wanted to make something new, different from any other car I've ever seen. So I projected a rear steering gear, a big rear wheel with inside it a powerful engine. The front wheels couldn't steer and the've two disc brakes applyed at external sides of the rims. With a little of imagination this car could also work ;-)
I modeled it in 3DStudioMax5 and made the few textures with Photoshop.
Here is another thread with a realistic render of this car in a raining night environment: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=311875

This is my first 3d car, made with 3DS and Photoshop, with no post-production. I've searched in the web some images for reference, this was a great car years ago (and my dad's car too), but few informations and photos are available, I'm happy there is now a (simple) 3D model. It has been a hard work of this summer, but it's a nice hobby for me.
